Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage administrative tasks while providing excellent customer service to patients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical office setting and possess strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phone calls and emails, and handle inquiries promptly
- Verify patient information and details accurately
- Maintain and ensure data integrity
- Process billing and insurance claims
- Good computer skills
- Assist physicians and medical staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Administrative Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Best Practice Software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Certificate or diploma in Medical Administration or related field preferred
