Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Medical Secretary to work with a well-regarded surgeon

• 3 days per week - flexible hours (option to work school hours)
• Work with a well-regarded surgeon
• Work from HOME majority of the time
• 1 day per month at consulting rooms in Liverpool - parking provided and travel paid for by Dr
• Shexie medical software
• Experience with Work Cover Billings highly regarded

Our client, a well-regarded surgeon, is looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to run the day to day operations.
In this role you will need to think on your feet and confidently handle phones, patients, billings and doctor's requests simultaneously.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Work Cover / Billings
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Managing patient payments, invoicing, inpatient hospital billings
• Typing of medical reports and corrections
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
• Health fund checks
• Theatre lists and booking surgeries

To be successful in this position you will have previous experience working in a medical specialist setting. You will be enthusiastic with a high standard of customer service care. You will have excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
