We are seeking a professional and experienced National Account Manager to join our entrepreneurial and innovative company to continue to expand and develop our success in the Australian market. The role will be predominantly focused on our high valued Coles, Woolworths and Shaver Shop accounts.

Reporting to the Sales Director AUS/NZ, you will develop the long-term strategy and relationships with key retailers. You will be responsible for the Joint Business Plans and Promotional Programs delivered in line with business guidelines. You will have a high level of input and direction for range reviews, so you will require excellent planning, communication, and negotiation skills with an ability to communicate retailer, provide insights and direction with marketing. You possess a demonstrated ability to focus on top line sales whilst retaining margin requirements, have strong analytical and organizational skills, combined with a solid understanding of key Grocery retailers in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Operate as the lead point of contact
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop promotional programs, and drive successful range review outcomes
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of promotional activity
- Manage our share of range/share of shelf
- Manage trade spend within specific guidelines
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics and present to key internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven account management experience within the Australian Grocery channels is required
- Account management experience with Australian electrical retailers would be advantageous
- Minimum 5-7yrs experience in a related sales function
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, brands and retailers while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience forecasting a large number of products
- An understanding of logistics and service level measurements relevant to Grocery retailers
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
