The Role
In this newly created position for a National Business Development Manager, you will build and grow relationships across mid to large-sized fleet customers in every state of Australia to identify sales opportunities and then bring them to life.
What will you be doing?
- Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will leverage your analysis of a vast sales data set along with your consultative prospecting capability to connect with potential business customers, understand their needs and provide them with solutions that will meet and exceed their expectations.
- This will involve building relationships across multiple layers of an organisation to open doors and then deliver your recommendations in the most appropriate and enticing format.
- When your customers are on board, you will invest in ensuring ongoing commercial support and follow-up for their needs.
- You will be a proven B2B sales leader who can toggle between developing strategic commercial growth prospects and bringing these opportunities to life with hands-on implementation.
- Your industry exposure will be aligned to materials handling equipment and may encompass either warehousing, warehouse equipment, capital equipment or machinery, logistics, transport or similar.
- You have proven capability to analyse market trends coupled with the sales acumen and nous to discern the good from the great opportunities. You know how to get the best output from your input!
- You'll be backed by a highly skilled and experienced leader to coach and guide you when you need it, supported with a strong team culture.
- OTE $200k+. A lucrative commission structure.
