Due to an exciting period of growth, we are looking for someone to join the team as National Business Development Manager – as this role is National, there may be periods where you are required to travel interstate. This a hybrid role working from home and the office.
Objectives of this role
- Develop, execute, and oversee the Business Development strategy
- Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- This role is suited to those looking for a “hunter” sales role in which you will generate and qualify leads through channels such as cold calls, networking, and research.
Responsibilities
- Engage in consultative selling to understand client needs and position our products or services as solutions.
- Work with marketing to create new collateral to support the promotion of LPA services and products
- Work with Marketing to identify strategic partnerships and events to attend, and establish ROI on such investments
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, market conditions and opportunities for LPA to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients and the organisation.
- Attend networking events representing LPA.
About You
- Min of 5 years sales experience and demonstrated success preferably in a Health Services environment
- Qualifications in Business Management - highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of sales growth techniques
- Excellent project management skills and the capacity to manage and meet competing priorities
- Ability to problem-solve, take initiative and be comfortable to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
