THE OPPORTUNITY
Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland
The KGF Group is growing, and part of our growth plan is to open retail outlets.
To integrate and leverage the greater KGF business to solidify our market position, we are on the hunt for an entrepreneurial National Retail Development Manager to lead this development.
YOUR RESPONSILBITIES
As the National Retail Development Manager, you will manage our retail outlet in Kilcoy, and open our new 'super' retail outlet that we are designing within our new state of the art secondary processing facility at Bells Creek, Caloundra. With your experience, you will:
- Drive sales and a retail experience with a genuine passion for the meat industry and food solutions.
- Ensure the in-store experience and quality standards are of the highest standard: gold star.
- Ability to foster and maintain strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and the wider community.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are in place and adhered to.
- Develop and lead the start up of trade events that engage the community and promote the Kilcoy brands/products. Participate in pre-organised events.
- Generate leads, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close business deals.
- Establish a rhythm of “test and learn” for new products based on consumer trends and market insights.
- Create a sense of excitement for the outlets and work closely with the marketing team to drive customer engagement to be known as the “destination shop”.
- Guide/coach exceptional customer service and operational standards.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
You will bring with you:
- 5+ years sales experience working in the meat industry (deep understanding of beef cuts).
- Proven sales leadership experience in either retail or foodservice channels.
- Demonstrated and proven success with innovation and commercialisation processes.
- Sales and business development experience – customer service is at the core of what you do!
