We are a small Accounting Firm in St Kilda seeking an experienced Office Administrator.
Prior experience in accounting and taxation administration is ESSENTIAL. You would be in charge of the company’s administration and efficiency of daily office operations. From liaising with the Australian Taxation Office to dealing with ASIC Incorporations, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner. We seek a bright, cheerful person with diligent attention to detail to join us full-time, starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Writing personalised letters to clients. Packing and sending tax returns for individuals and larger groups.
- Engagement, new client onboarding, and ethical clearance processes.
- Liaison with the Australian Taxation Office, ASIC, and other third parties.
- Liaison with staff and clients over phone and email.
- ASIC Annual Returns.
- ASIC Incorporations.
- Accounts payable and receivable.
- Answering and directing voice calls and emails.
- Dealing with paper and electronic mail.
- Manage the reception area. Supervise the maintenance of office areas and equipment.
- Provide office guests with a hospitable experience.
- Being the main point of contact of the company.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience with XERO, XPM, ASIC and ATO Tax Agent Portal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet quality and productivity goals.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Helpful, self-motivated.
