Who We Are

This civil contractor was founded many years ago by a few mates who loved working together.  The principles today are the very same as they were with the same leadership team who have hired talent around them to help grow the business to make it what it is today.

It is a company built on friendship, principles and a fair go.  They are genuine people with relationships with one another and group harmony being the most important metric they base their success on.  One of the Director's has told me point blank:  “If I didn't love coming into work everyday, I'd shut everything down or sell the business”.

Statements like these are backed p by their employee retention, low turnover and massive anecdotal evidence.  Each time I drive to their office, I'm prepared by looking at large, rural, picturesque estates and sweeping hills with awe inspiring views.  You turn right and go down the hill viewing their estate with machinery and paddocks with their carpark and office.  You enter the office and everyone is together smiling at you and you've got to say hello to everyone at the same time otherwise you're picking favourites!

They specialise in the area of sporting fields and outdoor spaces along with landscaping & earthmoving.  They are a go-to trusted subcontractor from the very largest players and a principle contractor on projects up to $10m.

Due to healthy business growth and a steady pipeline of work moving forward as well as starting a new division, they are now looking to welcome an Office Administrator to join the team.

Your Role

This is an opportunity for an Office Administrator to work with a great bunch of principled people who pay good, solid money for you to do what you love with plenty of work on the horizon.  These guys really do offer you a career and not just a day's work with exceptional loyalty within the business and an excellent name in the industry that would look excellent on your resume.  

This a permanent role which is 2-3 full days of work a week, which can expand out to full-time as the business grows, and as you level up your skill-set in OHS administration.  They're currently rolling out new software platforms, so you will be trained and will co-ordinate directly with their OHS & Contracts Manager who is a close personal friend of mine also.

Their office and yard are based in the Northern-Eastern Suburbs where you will be spending the vast majority of your time.  You will be working closely with the Project Managers, OHS Manager and the Managing Directors and all of our Office Staff. (I know all of these people personally and they are great easy-going people with good values and extensive industry experience).  

This role is multi-disciplined and will keep you engaged and interested.  As well as general office management, you will also have some procurement and wider administrative duties included with your OHS administration.  This will come in the form of invoicing, presentations and taking payments.  Assist the OHS Manager with P.P.E orders and registers, training, scheduling and supportive functions.

We do ask for previous experience in the majority of these key functions, OHS administration experience is looked upon favourably, but is not essential.  We will also provide you with White Card, First Aid and Fire Warden Training qualifications to add to your resume.  We also dedicate one day a month to leadership training for all of our staff on top of paying for continuous training in whatever qualification you believe you need to do your job better and help your career.

You will also be provided with plenty of training and an annual bonus of up to 10% of your base salary at the discretion of the Managing Directors and performance of the business.
