Your new role
- Processing of weekly payroll in an accurate and timely manner in line with Company policies, Industrial Instruments, and procedures.
- Maintain the payroll system including updating and maintaining records, handling employee data including adjustments, change of employee details, new starter set up and terminations.
- Calculating and processing statutory compliance including payroll tax, workers compensation, PAYG, superannuation
- Customer services- Response and resolution to employees' enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Data integrity and reporting on a regular basis.
- Maintaining leave records and payments
- Keep up to date with legislative changes to ensure the business complies with all relevant requirements.
- Continuous review and recommendation on processes to increase efficiencies
- You're a pragmatic problem solver and a team player.
- Exceptional attention to detail whist working in a high-volume role
- Demonstrated experience in working with interpreting awards and statutory legislation
- Payroll systems knowledge such as Preceda, Kronos would be advantageous
