JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, specializing in pediatrics, to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as a Team Leader with a private practice clinic in Silverwater. This is an exciting opportunity for a
passionate individual seeking to strike a unique balance between clinical service provision and leadership.
This role allows for a diverse and stimulating working environment, with an 80% clinic-based and 20% community/school visits service delivery model.
This role is a full-time role, however for suitable candidate part-time arrangements will be considered.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clinical Services: Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to children and adolescents with a variety of conditions, promoting independence and optimizing development.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support the paediatric OT team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes professional growth.
- Program Development: Contribute to the continued development and enhancement of the Silverwater pediatric clinic. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and improve service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with families, carers, educators and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, child-centered care.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Must be available to relocate to Sydney, open to applicants nationwide
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Ability to build rapport quickly & maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and continual professional development.
- Understanding and experience in NDIS service delivery would be advantageous.
