Meet your team
Pitcher Partners has one of the largest insolvency teams in Melbourne, led by six experienced and skilled insolvency practitioners. We are an ethical and high-quality practice providing the full range of corporate and personal insolvency services, underpinned by the commitment of the highest level of financial investigation and recovery skills to the small and medium-sized enterprise market.
About the role
You will join a supportive and energetic team environment of around 40 staff and play a key role in supporting 3 Partners within the practice group. Collaborating with other Assistants within the team, you will take pride in delivering exceptional administrative support to the Business Recovery & Insolvency Partners. This role will also provide administration support to the Critical Point Network (CPN) network.
Key responsibilities
- High level professional assistance to up to 3 Partners
- Diary management, coordinating meetings and events, acting as a first point of contact for the Partners office, receiving, prioritising and distributing incoming calls, emails, and mail, travel coordination, expense processing, invoice processing and all other administrative tasks as required
- Supporting with dictation, general typing, proposals, reports and presentations
- Monthly billing and timesheet management
- Building effective relationships with clients, partners and staff
- Managing conflicting priorities, to do lists, outstanding matters, etc.
- Database management for the CPN
- Maintaining APS and Mail Chimp
- Assisting with CPN conference and events support
Who we’re after

Proven administrator
You will have Personal Assistant/administration experience, ideally within a financial services or professional services environment. A naturally organised professional, you are adept at building strong relationships in a fluid and fast paced environment.
Positive team player
You are organised and can meet conflicting deadlines, with exceptional attention to detail and the flexibility to work on a variety of tasks autonomously.
Technologically savvy
You are computer savvy and comfortable working with a variety of tools, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
