About the role
The role will report directly to the Project Manager.
FIFO site based - 2:1
The role provides day to day project support to Project Managers including but not limited to:
- Assisting in mobilisation requirements, including flights and accommodation bookings.
- Administration support to the projects team.
- Preparation of documents and reports as required.
- Purchase orders as directed by Project Engineer / Project Manager.
- Tracking day works and updating register.
- Ensuring the correct trades are mobilised to site.
- Document Control for projects.
- Following up sub contractors for project documentation and quotes.
- Managing documentation deliverables to project time frames.
- Managing project documentation into the company server.
- Assisting the Project Manager with all other project related items for successful delivery of the project.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' project administration experience in a construction / mining environment.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Previous experience in a construction office environment.
- Good verbal and email communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of document control processes.
- Understanding of Microsoft software (Word, Excel).
