Reporting directly to the Regional Procurement Manager, in this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory management, strategic sourcing, vendor relations, and support the seamless functioning of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory replenishment and sourcing for new items, negotiating prices to ensure optimal cost-efficiency
- Maintain vendor relationships and item databases crucial to branch operations
- Support Accounts Payable through local invoice matching
- Streamline the order cycle process, including purchasing, communication with vendors, and updating relevant systems.
- Develop and nurture relationships with local suppliers, monitoring performance and facilitating credit processes
- Coordinate logistics, including supplier drop shipments
- Prior experience in procurement/ purchasing or a willingness to learn
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Solid understanding of business processes and environments
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
