The Position: Receptionist, Aspley Aged Care
A great opportunity now exists for a highly motivated and professional Receptionist to be part of our team at Aspley Aged Care.
Holland Park Aged Care is owned and operated by respected aged care provider CPSM Care who operates four other large, aged care homes in South East Queensland. The CPSM Care Corporate and Site Management Teams are dynamic and enthusiastic and foster a supportive and collegiate workplace.
Aspley Aged Care has a full time Administration Manager supporting the site along with the other members of the management team which includes a General Manager and two Care Managers. The Receptionist is an important role on site to ensure the smooth operational running of the facility. The role is full time, Monday to Friday 0830-1630.
Responsibilities / Authorities:
- To demonstrate an exceptional level of reception and customer service ensuring that a high standard of professionalism is maintained at all times.
- To assist with rostering and other human resource management functions in conjunction with the site management team.
- To assist and maintain electronic databases and documents in accordance with site processes and best practice.
- Organise and schedule staff meetings, education and maintain all relevant documentation.
- Assist in the quality production and distribution of facility correspondence ensuring that a high standard of accuracy and professional format is maintained.
- Provide general support to residents and their representatives, visitors and staff.
- To maintain confidentiality of information.
- Assist the Administration Manager with their role and responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid satisfactory Criminal History Check.
- Formal qualifications relevant to the position is desirable.
- Appreciate the need to be highly reliable.
- Ability to build and maintain harmonious, collaborative and positive interpersonal relationships with others.
- Superior customer service skills and ability.
- Demonstrates optimal time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, appropriately and professionally both written and orally.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt, change and learn.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- High level of computer proficiency and use of applicable software applications.
- Sound knowledge, understanding and demonstration of accounting and financial administration.
