We’re growing again and opening a new clinic in Albany. We need more support! So we’re looking for a naturally warm personality to welcome our patients and support our hardworking sleep technicians: they really would like more time to nap! 

You’ll bring Reception experience , enthusiasm, juggling skills and some good humour. We will bring supportive team mates and managers, kindness on tap and regular chocolate infusions.

About the role

As Receptionist at SLA Albany you will be the friendly face the patient sees. Your warm hello will make their day! And ours too!

We’re a team of 15 (16 when you get here) kind, talented, genuine people who improve patients’ lives by delivering excellent care and diagnostic services. We do it through kindness, patience, knowledge and a little bit of humour. 

Reporting to Bree, our lovely Practice Manager/SuperMum, you’ll work 9am to 5pm, with some flexible days off if required. Interested in a 4 day week, or a 9 day fortnight? Lets talk more. You will be based in our new Albany clinic and will be very involved in the set up and presentation, an exciting fresh start!

 We'll shape the role around the experience of the person we hire. But here’s some of what you’ll get up to:

  • Provide a welcoming entrance to our patients. 
  • Manage our calendar using Coreplus software.  Experience in any medical software will put you in front for this task. 
  • Working with the Perth based reception team to answer the phones, confirming appointments and answering patient questions.  
  • Process payments using MYOB, keep payment records and electronic filing.  
  • Liaising with our key service providers
  • Cleaning devices and equipment.
  • Maintain a warm office environment.

  1. Experience of reception and general administration
  2. Enthusiasm, positivity and the genuine work ethic to ‘get things done’ . 
  3. Proven integrity, professionalism and discretion - you’ll be comfortable with sensitive information, and will do the right thing, even when no-one’s watching
  4. A good grasp of the English Language - written and verbal. Spelling and grammar do matter here
  5. A love of organisation, and strong attention to detail 
  6. High level of proficiency with Microsoft and Google products with incredibly fast typing skills. 

We’d love to see people with reception experience, but it’s not a deal breaker. And we're sorry but you do need the permanent right to work in Australia.
