Moffat Beach Family Medical Practice
We are a private billing family General Practice located in the coastal suburb Moffat Beach on the Sunshine Coast seeking a receptionist to work 3 days a week and provide team cover as required. (casual or part time rates can be discussed).
Your recent medical reception experience, positive and proactive approach will add value current team and 7 Doctors who provide high-quality patient care.
You will have a thorough knowledge of General Practice reception, including:
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Be calm and professional in a very busy environment
- Ability to prioritise tasks and have good time management
- Understanding of MBS, DVA & private practice billings
- Best Practice Software
- Ability to comply with privacy and confidentiality standards
- Reliable and flexible to cover other shifts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with patients and medical professionals
Responsibilities
- Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
- Liaise with patients and their families, GPs, other health professionals and their staff with a well spoken, professional and compassionate manner
- Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results
- All other and ad hoc general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
- Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team
- Opening and closing the clinic as per the roster
