We have an excellent opportunity to join our team in our New Farm based private practice. We require an enthusiastic and confident person to work on our Reception team to meet and greet and handle the needs of our patients. We are a thriving busy Health and Wellbeing Practice and have been established in the New Farm area for the last 19 years. We have modern and up-to-date offices and above all a pleasant environment to work in with an emphasis on helping each other out to ensure we meet the needs of our clients.
Amongst other duties, your main responsibilities in the clinic will include:
* meeting & greeting patients
* assisting patients with making appointments
* managing patient flow into and out of the treatment rooms
* answering the telephone
* ordering of stock and equipment
* taking money and balancing financials at the end of each shift
* lending a caring ear or comforting shoulder to those patients in need
The position is very high paced and as the successful applicant you will possess:
* outstanding time management skills
* good interpersonal skills and telephone manner
* ability to follow instructions implicitly
* impeccable presentation and punctuality
* basic computer knowledge essential
* experience preferred
* smile and a good send of humour required
HOURS:
The role is for a casual receptionist who is flexible to assist our practitioners and other staff. Typically shifts are no less than 5 hours and are divided into morning or afternoon shifts. It is possible to do a double shift with a lunch break in between. The clinic is open 6 days a week with hours set below
Monday-Friday
Morning shifts: 6:45am- 11:45am
Afternoon shifts: 1:45pm - 6:45pm
Saturdays
6:45am to 11:45am
