JP Flynn Builders is an Australian owned company that has a primary focus on the provision of high volume and high quality domestic insurance repairs for over 35 years. With the support of Australia's largest personal insurers, we are seeking to grow even further in 2024.
Due to further client expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Customer Care team based in our Oakleigh South office. There is a great variety of tasks associated with the role and we are looking for someone who is interested in growing with our company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Managing reception emails by responding to them or forwarding them to the appropriate staff member
- Administration of gateway email mailboxes
- Meeting and greeting clients, assisting them with queries, and settling them into meeting rooms
- Providing administrative and reception support to the broader business by upholding effective service delivery and day-to-day functioning
- Data Entry
- Assist with submission of high quality building assessment reports and quotes
- Establishing and building excellent relationships between JP Flynn and its clients and customers
- Developing and achieving targets and KPIs efficiently and effectively
- Working with the team to plan, deliver and assess work to achieve high quality and effective outcomes
As the ideal applicant, you must have:
- Previous experience working within the construction (commercial or residential) and/or insurance sectors preferable.
- Demonstrated success in a similar role as a receptionist
- Relevant administrative experience and ideally in a fast-paced organisation
- An exposure to handling multiple projects and an ability to co-ordinate whilst under pressure
- Strong communication capability and articulation
- Great customer service
- Excellent time management
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- High computer literacy and experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite such as Prime Ecosystem preferable.
In this position you must be an effective communicator, who can represent a leading brand in the building industry and possess a passion for customer service in the construction industry. This is a full time in office role.
