Role Details
We are currently looking for experienced Recruitment and Mobilisation Coordinator to join our client’s team!
Based in their office in Belmont, you will be responsible for running and coordinating the day to day Recruitment and Mobilisation activities of the business for a busy power, energy and communications business.
This position is offered Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) on a permanent ongoing basis. (There is also the occasional weekend phone call - emergency only)
Role Requirements and Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position - customer focus role within an office environment.
- Experience in mobilisation and recruitment of blue-collar workforce.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
- Valid Driver’s Licence – “C” Class.
- High level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and high-quality work.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
- High level of organisation skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Good judgement and decision making.
- High level communication and IT skills.
- Ability to cooperate and work autonomously and in a team environment.
- The ability to represent the Company in a professional manner.
Position Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Organise, attend and minute resourcing planning meetings with General Manager, Operations Managers (QLD & WA), Project Managers.
- Provide advice on Recruitment and Mobilisation subject matters.
- Develop and build positive relationships with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients and third parties on resourcing requirements.
- Source candidate onboarding and Mobilisation documentation. Assist with the onboarding of new starters (I.e. new starter paperwork, company inductions, order/issue PPE, formatting resumes)
- Maintain PPE stock levels.
- Enter and submit personnel and contractors into client-based onboarding and induction systems.
- Maintain/update Labour Hire spreadsheet
- Maintain/create/update mobilisation checklists
- Organise all Project mobilisation arrangements (i.e. documentation, flights, accommodation, vehicle hire and plant hire, medicals, training, inductions, PPE, etc.) for personnel and Contractors.
- Maintain a travel manifest (live shared document) for all personnel across all sites. (QLD & WA). Liaise with QLD & WA Operations Managers each morning (QLD being the priority due to the time difference).
- Liaise with Project Manager/SHEQ Advisors on role requirements and candidate’s fitness for work status and approval.
- Maintain and update the Company’s and Project specific training matrix’s (live shared document) to ensure currency, identify training gap and expiring training/licences/certificates to ensure all personnel meet the Project requirements.
- Book refresher, site specific or role specific training as required (I.e. VOC’s, Division/Site/Project Inductions, Aveling Rio Tinto, Working Safely at Heights etc) (all refresher training to be booked 6-8 weeks prior to expiry).
- Provide updates and reports on recruitment activity and pipelines.
- Assist the operations team with the creation, collation and storing of electronic and hardcopy correspondence and documentation. Provide administration support to the operations team as required (raising purchase orders, entering day work sheets when required, general administration)
