Red Dust Holdings are a progressive Civil Construction Contractor based in Midwest WA with ongoing projects right across the state.
Our recruitment team are looking for a new team member to assist in keeping up with the daily resumes we receive. We put focus on getting to know each candidate before they become and employee in the hopes we can foster good relationships and an understanding of our employees wants, needs and training goals.
This all takes time… and that special someone who loves to chat but can also manage the information in a timely manner into our systems.
We are keen to hear from anyone with recruiting, mobilisation or HR experience to see where we could take the role!
The salary offered will suit the applicants current experience with review offered depending on adaptation to the business and the role i.e. if you shine we will reward you no matter your previous experience!
The role specifics:
- Full Time in our Perth, Ascot office.
- Monday to Friday.
- Weekly payroll - every Thursday.
- Reporting directly to our Recruitment & Mobilisation Manager.
- Our Head Office is based in Geraldton WA, we would love for the successful candidate to have flexibility to fly to Geraldton once every 3months. (not mandatory but preferred)
- You will be recruiting across Blue Collar personnel - Mobile Plant Operators, Tradespeople and White Collar personnel.
- Our company manages projects across Bulk Earthworks, Detailed Earthworks and Mine site services.
The role can include (but not limited to - depending on experience):
- Liaising with candidates, taking the time to get to know them and deliver that information to the team and into our management systems.
- Completing applicant pre-screens and reference checks.
- Arranging interviews for applicants with Head Office Management.
- Working closely with Management and Project Administrators to ensure projects are correctly resourced
- Work closely with our Project and Safety teams to ensure onboarding processes are completed
- Mobilisation of personnel to new and existing projects
- Booking of medicals and Drug & Alcohol processes for personnel
- Processing National Police Clearances on an as required basis
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Liaising with our clients and external site administrators to manage logistics and travel requirements to site.
- Complete Travel request forms, rosters and onboarding processes. (Project specific)
- Managing a busy outlook email and actioning emails promptly and efficiently
- Potential for more high level HR tasks if your experience allows
It is envisaged that a successful applicant will possess the following:
- Exceptional multi-tasking ability and experience in managing conflicting priorities effectively
- High level of organisation skills with a good memory is key, as the role involves changing logistics daily
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and build rapport with personnel
- Ability to build relationships with on-site personnel, office staff and management
- Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
- Have high attention to detail
- INX or Pronto experience (or similar) looked upon favorably
- Microsoft Excel Intermediate
