Westcool (WA) Pty Ltd was formed in 2016 to provide HVAC+R services. We are fast becoming an industry leader and offer a service to our customers like no other company out there. We pride ourselves on our achievements of outstanding customer satisfaction and our conscientious approach to work that has become synonymous with the Westcool name. We have grown over the years to more than 35 employees and now design, install, service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC+R equipment for a number of high-profile clients across the state of WA.
Due to ongoing contracts and the commencement of new service agreements with national brands, we are seeking the employment of a Refrigeration Service Manager.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a detail-oriented service manager to manage our refrigeration department and handle customer service interactions, reports, and repairs. The service manager’s responsibilities include providing the highest level of customer service, developing lasting customer relationships, and managing the service team members. The service manager maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services.
To be successful as a service manager, you should display a strong sales-minded and process like attitude as well as excellent leadership skills. You should also have the ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and third-party vendors.
Service supervisor responsibilities:
- Liaise with the service team of the daily running of the refrigeration department within Westcool. Highlight areas in need of attention.
- Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
- Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, checking over of paperwork on work tasks, closing out work tasks to invoice and quote, and tracking inventory/and technician MPI’s.
- Resolving service desk problems and improving service methods to increase the service desk's productivity and customer service.
- Monitoring department issues and client complaints and advise of to manager.
- Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
- Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
- Help the service team maintain the standard at Westcool with the MPI’s in place for technicians to be continually followed.
- Carry out quotations for service and small project works, in line with the Company’s expectations.
Service Manager requirements:
- Experience on supermarket refrigeration.
- CO2 Refrigeration experience advantageous.
- Strong industry knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Efficient computer literacy and good organizational skills.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify potential short comings and resolve them as needed.
- The ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight time frames, service based.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience working in a similar role, advantageous but not a necessity.
- Strong technical background in HVAC
- Good work ethic and enthusiasm
- Trade certificate/qualification
- Valid Refrigeration license
- Restricted electrical license
- Valid white card
- Valid WA driving license
- Valid Australian working rights
