Senior Environment Advisor

We seek a versatile and multi-skilled Senior Environment Advisor to work with our Mardie project team to ensure compliance with environment policies, procedures, standards and regulations.  Working with a high-performing and collaborative team the position will be based at our Mardie site working a 14 days on 7 days off roster.

As construction progresses at Mardie, we are continuing to shape our team.  We are looking for an individual who is ready to be a part of this exciting project, where you will have the opportunity to really make an immediate impact.

BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

Using an inexhaustible seawater resource and 99% of the energy required produced by natural solar and wind energy, our Mardie project is a multi-generational sustainable opportunity that will supply the growing chemical, renewable energy, and agricultural industries with Salt and Sulphate of Potash for generations to come.

The Role

Working closely with the Mardie project team including our Contractors you will ensure compliance with environmental policies, procedures, standards and regulations which are critical to our licence to operate.  You will support the implementation of the requirements and provisions of the project Environmental Management Plan and you will lead site investigations in relation to all environmental incidents and assist with the preparation of reports for statutory bodies. 

About You:

You will be degree qualified in environmental science or equivalent with 5 plus years of experience working in a construction/operational environment.  With a high attention to detail and the ability to analyse data and information. 

You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
