This Senior Operations Manager position contributes to our vision by leading and inspiring our people to learn, develop and continually grow to deliver both effective and positive outcomes for our customers, stakeholders, and people.
In this role you will be a key member of the Mortgage Operations group and your contribution will be paramount to the delivery of Westpac's vision. You will have a minimum of 5 years Consumer and Business Banking experience accompanied with extensive risk and compliance management experience. Additionally, you will demonstrate strategic leadership, display a strong customer focus, experience in formulating & implementing strategy across the business with strong people leadership skills.

What do I need?
- Demonstrable experience in leadership roles managing large teams and leader of leader experience.
- Ability to critically think and solve problems across more complex environments utilising data and sound judgement.
- Excellent clear and simple communications skills, good planning abilities and deep and advanced knowledge of finance and accounting standards and systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline, desirable not mandatory
- Proven ability to create great people cultures through leadership, transparency, clarity, and fun.
