SalaryThe Senior Specialist, E-Commerce Operations will be responsible for Product Launch & On-site Merchandising excellence for Australia and New Zealand own ecosystem (Web and App). In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing product, content & catalog processes, assisting in influencing KPIs through analytical insights, on-site merchandising, product updates and system troubleshooting. This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth Product operations including key launches, campaigns, and promotions.
The Senior Specialist E-Commerce Operations will collaborate with Buying & Trading, Consumer Experience, Digital VM and Brand Marketing to ensure adidas Pacific delivers a best-in-class consumer experience and maximises Product related KPIs (ASP, Conversion and Sell Through).
Additionally, the scope of this role includes identifying and resolving technical bugs and/or errors on the site and improving operational processes, working with global and market teams responsible for systems, tools and processes linking in with E-Commerce.
Key Accountabilities:
Product Data & Launch:
Manage product related maintenance processes (e.g., product launch, copy, dates, prices, sizes, stock troubleshooting), liaising with Market Hub, Global and locally to gather required information.
Ensure the timely availability of assets and global master data in adidas systems and act as escalation point for all Pacific E-Commerce Master Data Management topics.
Briefing of Catalog set up, maintenance and updates.
Management of hype launches together with global and local stakeholders.
Reporting & analytics, and implementing / briefing optimisations based on findings
Season Plan Execution
Manage product related implementation of local brand campaigns & experiences.
Manage Top Product Pages performance (Bounce rate, Conversion rate) through proactive Onsite Merchandising
Manage creation of custom product pages, including tactical landing pages & collections for .com homepage carousels, Flagship App SHOP carousels and Online Outlet page.
Proactively identify opportunities to impact commercial targets, e.g., new product set up, reactive merchandising
Manage seasonal changes or escalations content and operations, e.g., terms related to promotions, customer service queries on Product.
Reporting & analytics and implementing / briefing optimisations based on findings.
Ownership of Coupon creation
End-to-end testing & UAT as required.
Issue Management
Proactive troubleshooting of product data
Addressing consumer inquiries and ad-hoc requests internally
Active and reactive approach to managing technical content issues through bug fix/demand processes.
Other duties as required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
A positive, can-do attitude
The candidate must be self-directed and able to work in a highly flexible and informally structured environment. Exemplary multi-tasking and time management skills are a necessity.
An excellent command of the English language, both oral and written, and the ability to effectively communicate and positively influence both internal and external stakeholders.
An understanding of business levers which impact eCommerce commercial success, conversion rate, traffic, average order value and how to positively impact each of these.
A clear understanding of best-in-class consumer/visitor experience in the modern digital world, a continually evolving perspective on the optimal consumer journey.
A sound understanding of current and emerging eCommerce technologies and their on-site application.
Experience with content management systems, and an understanding of the system landscape commonly present in an E-Commerce environment
Experience with major web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):
College or University degree preferred.
Working knowledge of the apparel and / or sports industry an asset.
4+ years’ experience working in Digital, Brand or E-Commerce roles / organisation.
Experience working on digital content processes and systems,
