Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Service Desk Manager to join the team. The Service Desk Manager/ IT Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and providing exceptional technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk team, ensuring timely resolution of IT support requests and incidents.
  • Develop and implement Service desk policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Service desk analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT service delivery issues, driving improvements and enhancements as needed.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and implement preventive measures to minimise disruptions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance IT service delivery.
  • Work with the leadership team and bring new ideas and ways of thinking.
