We are a Private Specialist Practice that provides care and services predominantly to the Elderly community in the way of Specialist Vascular Care, Ultrasound and Wound Care. We are a very small but busy Practice that prides itself on maintaining confidentiality and professionalism, respecting our patients and other members of staff and offering the highest level of care we can for our beautiful patients and realise the importance of selecting the right person to join us. We believe this is what makes our Practice unique and a rewarding place to work.
Qualifications & experience
- Must be competent with IT and can troubleshoot
- Can generate spreadsheets - Excel
- Familiar with Cloud base Medical software-Gentu
- Have experience at Reception in a Medical Practice
- Work well in a team environment
- Be efficient, hard working, respectful and reliable
Tasks & responsibilities
- Greet patients and other callers at the practice in a courteous and efficient manner
- Answer the telephone promptly and courteously;
- Deal with referring doctors and hospital staff courteously and helpfully
- Exercise confidentiality in regard to patient care and all aspects of the practice;
- Arrange appointments for patents following set booking procedures
- Issue patient invoices and receipts
- Type, file and post all correspondence
- Arrange and check theatre lists with hospitals and Anaesthetists
- Attend to routine cleaning and stocking requirements; ensure all furniture and equipment is clean and tidy
- Order Stationary and Medical stock when requested
