Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a meticulous and organised Tour Logistics Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of our tours, from coordinating transportation and accommodations to managing logistics on the ground. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of delivering exceptional travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of Tour Logistics to ensure seamless execution of itineraries.
- Liaise with vendors, hotels, airlines, and other partners to resolve logistical issues.
- Develop comprehensive tour schedules and detailed itineraries, providing clear instructions to tour guides, drivers, and other staff members.
- Anticipate and proactively address any potential logistical challenges or disruptions, implementing practical solutions to minimise the impact on the overall tour experience.
Qualifications:
- Must have immaculate attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and detailed travel itineraries.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and can quickly pick up new systems/applications.
- Experience in tour operations, logistics coordination, or a similar role within the travel industry is desirable but not essential.
- This role would be best suited to someone with a strong administration background with a high level of coordination experience.
