Waste Administration Officer

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the of Waste Administration Officer. The Waste Administration Officer will provide administrative services, customer service, data entry and associated tasks to support the Waste Management Team.

Reporting to Contract Coordinator Waste and Environment the role will provide administrative assistance including the receipt and processing of bin replacement/repairs requests, undertaking audits of bin allocations, assisting with the reconciliation of accounts, records management and assisting with the provision of customer service for the team, apply a detailed working knowledge of Council’s waste management services/products/functions to enable efficient and reliable response to customers and the proficient transfer of calls to the appropriate officer and generation of routine written correspondence.

Remuneration will be based on Band 4 classification $66,826.81 ($33.8192 per hour) pro rata annual plus superannuation of the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2022.
