This is an exciting time to join Daily Mail Australia in what marks the 10th year since the launch of the brand locally. We are looking to further expand our commercial operation with the appointment of an Account Manager, based in its Melbourne office. Reporting to the Group Sales Director, the successful candidate will be a collaborative self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a close team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Group Sales Director and Senior Account Manager in servicing clients, resolving client issues in a timely manner and updating clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities across the Melbourne market.
- Creative approach to sales and creating targeted digital & social media schedules based on briefs received from clients and developing account strategy that will maximize the amount of advertiser spend with Daily Mail Australia.
- Working harmoniously with the Daily Mail Australia’s Product team and collaborating with our Digital Analysts and Strategists to plan and execute strategies, to ensure campaigns meet client expectations and goals.
- Analyse campaign results and write strategies for executives to carry out optimisation if needed.
- Ensuring all bookings are loaded correctly, resulting in no account queries
- Weekly reporting to clients (delivery & screenshot reports) including post-campaign analysis and clearly articulate campaign data and statistics to clients.
- Day-to-day contact via phone and email with key agency contacts.
Platform Experience (preferred, not essential):
- Proficient in Google Ad Manager – running inventory checks, campaign reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint & Excel.
- Knowledge on tech partners including, but not limited to Permutive, AdmantX etc
- Experience in Adpoint or similar booking system.
