Accountant (Junior)

We have a great opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join this team located in the Lidcombe area, you will bring your skills and a min of 2 yrs exp

We currently have an opportunity available for a Junior Accountant to take their career to the next level working for this stable global company. Responsible to assist the Accounts department, you will be passionate to grow further within Finance.
Key Duties:-

• Responsible for Intercompany reconciliations
• Assist in GST returns
• Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts for AUS & NZ
• Analysing uplift rates on a quarterly basis
• Backup concur process, expenses and uploads
• Assist in expense and FBT compliance
• Assist in audits of expense payments
• Month end updates and reconciliations
• Assist in preparing forecasts and annual budgets
• Liaise with branches and staff throughout the organisation
• Adhoc duties that may arise from time-to-time

The successful candidate will have the following:-

• Completed a degree in the field of Accounting
• CPA / CAA qualifications desirable or will undertake qualifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Compliance and taxation
• The ability to multi-task and effectively handle a number of competing tasks
• Be a team player
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
