Accounts Payable Officer

Thinkerbell is looking for an amazing Accounts Payable Officer to join our team of Thinkers, Tinkers and COP's. This dynamic role will see you join our COP Shop in our Melbourne office with the opportunity to create something truly amazing.

The team works together to support and grow the team of Thinkers and Tinkers, making sure Thinkerbell is an awesome place to be everyday. COPs are the ultimate problem solvers and punctual, and know how to get the job done.

As an Accounts Payable Officer at Thinkerbell you are equal parts measured and magic. You will report into Moneypenny (our Revenue Accountant) and will be responsible for all the payables for our North, South, NZ and other offices.

THE TASK AT HAND

ROLE PURPOSE

You’ll have three key things to do:

1: Accounts Payable - End to end payables for all supplier invoices, expenses and credit card transactions ensuring a high level of attention to detail and that everything is processed and paid in a timely manner.

2: Timesheet Management - weekly and monthly time reporting, and to help motivate our staff to complete timesheets as required

3: Management Support - Adhoc tasks and projects as required, including business admin and back up for other COP Shop squad members as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounts Payable Officer would be responsible for:

• Ensuring all transactions are processed in a timely manner
• A high level of attention to detail ensuring accurate data entry
• Reconcile Supplier Statements
• Preparation of payment runs
• Setting up new suppliers
• Paying Media invoices on time to ensure commissions are received
• Manage Cyber Security and Fraud Risk
• PO Management
• Checking and Approving expense claims
• Reconciliation and processing of monthly credit card statements
• Timesheet reporting
• Support to Finance COPs on job related tasks and queries as required
• Back-up & support for other COP Shop Squad members as necessary
• Ad hoc reporting to assist finance team

We kick off every week with Measured Mondays, our all agency, super-wip and finish every Friday at 4pm with Magic Hour, where we get creative and weird together.

On top of your regular leave, everyone also gets a Mind Expansion Project per year, up to 5 consecutive days of extra leave per year for you to expand your mind and explore something new (that is something you wouldn’t normally do and something you’ve never done before), and then share back your experience with the agency.
