Ryans Quality Meats is a second generation family run butcher and foodservice business. With a proud history which spans over 50 years, Ryan's Quality Meats specialises in supplying beef, lamb, pork, poultry and value-add gourmet products to the wholesale, retail and foodservice sectors.
Operating out of two locations, Jandakot and Bunbury, Ryan's Quality Meats is in need for an Administration/Accounts/Payroll Officer.
About the role
Working with a small team, the Administration/Accounts/Payroll role will be a part of all aspects of the Admin and Accounts team.
Duties include:
- Payroll - collating and data entry of weekly payroll for approx 100 staff
- Data entry of customer orders, answering phone calls/emails and other administrative tasks
- Miscellaneous admin tasks including but not limited to Uniform Stock orders, Stationery orders, Staff Amenities etc
- Assisting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with incoming and outgoing payment allocation, account status etc.
- Assisting our AR Officer on a daily basis
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Reconcile accounts as and when required
- Liaising between two sites regarding admin and production requirements
- Running and ensuring End of Month processes are completed within timeframes provided
- Understand expense accounts and cost centres
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
To be considered for the position, the candidate will need to be punctual, flexible and reliable with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience within a similar role and poses the following skills and qualities:
- Certificate 3 in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
- Payroll processing
- MYOB knowledge
- Moderate to Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills & ability to build relationship with stakeholders
