Role Description/Criteria
About the role
The Assistant to the Business Office works as part of the Education Support Team assisting the smooth and efficient administration of the College, in particular providing support to the Business Manager, Human Resources, Registrar and Front Reception.
Major areas of responsibility
- Administrative support to the Business Manager, Registrar & Human Resources
- Administrative support to VASS
- Reception duties for school holidays and staff breaks/peak times
- In liaison with the Business Manager, organise and assist with various College functions.
- Oversee the coordination of various College Resources (ie keys; medication tubs; lost property etc)
- Assist with Mail & Deliveries
About You
- Strong administrative, time management and organisational abilities, including the ability to succeed in a busy and fast-paced environment.
- High-level computing skills, including the ability to utilise Outlook, Office 365, MS Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in the education and/or not for profit sector is desirable but not necessary.
