About the role
Navitas; Careers and Industry Division is seeking an Admissions Officer to assess international student applications, where you will provide inputs on admissions processes and quality of student applications.
The successful candidate will need previous experience working in admissions area, plus exceptional communication, and administrative skills.
This role will work in collaboration with the Navitas Careers & Industry Student Recruitment team, the applicant, and their agents (where applicable) with the intention of providing high levels of service, attention to detail, and accuracy when processing all paperwork with the result of generation of offers and confirmation of enrolments for international applicants.
This role supports a team working in a busy and diverse environment and will require a cooperative attitude and strong organisation skills.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assess applications for international students and process letters of offer within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain knowledge and respond to student enquiries on course entry requirements and admission programs, alternative solutions, and pathway courses for applicants.
- Maintain the accuracy of student records across all systems such as Salesforce and PRISMS and issuing documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Effectively communicating with agents
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislative framework, ensuring and maintaining complete regulatory and corporate policy compliance all throughout the process.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in an international admissions environment including the assessment of international applications for admissions.
- Customer-focused and able to deliver to a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with respect to data entry and in adherence with company processes and guidelines.
- Proven ability to provide effective analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution driven attitude.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels within the organisation.
- Excellent administrative, time-management, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse and remote team as well as independently.
- Experienced in Study link, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, systems, and databases.
- Knowledge of ESOS Act and National Code of Practice is highly regarded.
- Previous knowledge of Australian and foreign education qualifications is preferred
