2 month contract role, working as an Assistant Accountant for a Sustainability company
Your new company
This Sydney based sustainability company is looking for a temporary Assistant Accountant to work in its Sydney office in a hybrid work arrangement. The role will be for 2 months, covering annual leave, and there will be a handover period.
The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller, and preferably have experience of working with Dynamics 365. You will be responsible for the accurate processing and control of accounts payable, receivable and credit control during the contract.
Your new role
Main Responsibilities
Maintain Accounts Payable ledger using Dynamics 365 and Excel
Check and process payment requests and reimbursements on time, and send remittances
File all payment records and direct debit tax invoices
Reconcile payments on a monthly basis
Act as a main contact point for all creditor enquiries
Processing of Monthly invoices and reading contract terminology
Receipting and allocation of payments from Debtors
Completing follow up calls for outstanding debts
Assist with Payroll processing and reporting
- Other ad-hoc duties required by management
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in Dynamics 365 is preferred
Effective verbal and written communication
A Degree or Certificate in Accounting
Attention to detail
Proficient in the operation of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

The role is paying $38 to $40ph + Super.
