An exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our accounts team in Bunbury.
Brecken Health is a well-established group of General Practices located in metro, rural and regional Western Australia. Our business has grown significantly over the past five years to over 20 medical centres.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Working closely with the accounts team and Finance Manager to provide internal financial services to the team including:
- Financial & cash flow reporting
- GST & BAS reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll (including Superannuation)
- P&L and Balance Sheet
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Monthly & quarterly financial reports to Finance Manager
Essential:
- 2+ years experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar role
- Previous experience processing payroll (including Superannuation)
- An important part of the role is to respond to queries from staff and management, this requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills; we use a range of accounting and scheduling software as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Highly Regarded:
- Experience working in General Practice or the health industry
- Experience using accounting software, experience with Xero and/or MYOB will be highly regarded
- Use of scheduling and booking software such as Tanda, Deputy and Best Practice
