We are now sourcing a dynamic Business Development professional to spearhead organisational growth initiatives. This role is pivotal in expanding market presence, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying new avenues for business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forge new client relationships through diverse strategies including networking and direct sales to generate revenue.
- Employ solutions selling to understand client needs and offer tailored services.
- Manage customer relations to maintain positive engagements with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Compile and present sales reports, tracking interactions with clients using our CRM system.
- Proactively source new B2B clients, converting engagements into student enrolments.
- Regular local and interstate travel to meet business needs.
- Uphold a duty of care for all staff, focusing on welfare, health, and safety.
- Communicate sector updates effectively to all relevant parties.
- Perform additional duties as directed, contributing to the team's success.
- Regional and interstate travel, approximately 5 days per month to meet with clients and represent the business at industry events.
- Proven track record in Business Development, preferably within the vocational training or education sector.
- Business to business sales, direct selling both in person and over the phone.
- Strong understanding of, or ability to understand market dynamics and customer needs in vocational training.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills to assess opportunities and challenges.
- Qualifications in education or business will be well regarded but not essential.

- National Police Check and Working with Children Blue Card, or willingness to obtain.
