The role:
In this newly created Business Development Manager role, you will service our growing NSW business by reviewing and implementing market analysis that will improve Symal’s position within the civil infrastructure sector in NSW.
This role is based in Newcastle, New South Whales, and will require a degree of travel.
Your impact:
Through your Business Development, Symal will be best be positioned for tangible business opportunities across the market in various sectors.
Your every day:
- Conducting thorough research on multiple market sectors that are being targeted by Symal
- Identifying and acting on quality leads and their services
- Managing and maintaining strategic client plans, identifying key clients, their services and potential future business opportunities
- Preparing and recommending marketing plans & strategies
- Active involvement in the tender submission process
- Representing Symal at various industry events to enhance networking opportunities
Who are you?
- 5+ years' experience in a similar BDM role within construction, building or other related sectors
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coherently communicate ideas and opportunities to stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of success in past roles
- Self-motivated & solution orientated
