NM Insurance is a highly regarded, leading insurance underwriting agency operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our brands include Nautilus Marine Insurance, Australian Caravan Insurance, National Motorcycle Insurance and Proteus Marine Insurance. Derivatives of these product lines, via white label brands, are supporting major international and local retailers and manufacturers to assist their customer’s needs.
Due to continued growth and distribution opportunities, we are seeking a full time Business Development Manager to support and grow our insurance sales through our established QLD Marine, Motorcycle and Caravan dealer network. Our products are market leading, and we offer efficient systems to support our distributor network.
We are seeking an industry specialist who is understanding of the dealer space and the importance of insurance to customers when making a significant purchase of a Private Pleasure Craft, Caravan, or Motorcycle from an accredited dealer.
Our preferred candidate will be able to show the following attributes and experience:
- Strong sales, compliance, and development focus
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships
- Identify and capitalise on business opportunities
- Be willing to travel regularly including overnight stays
- Show attention to detail
- Be able to work autonomously, backed by a strong group support structure
- Have a strong understanding of insurance principles
- Have a good understanding of the leisure, finance, and insurance industry.
This role is supported by our underwriting and claims teams across Australia.
