Your New Team and Role
This role, reporting to our Senior Business Development Manager forms part of our high performing Sales, Marketing and Engineering Conveyor Solutions team. You will play a key role in leading and managing the sales efforts to develop and secure increased revenue and market share in New South Wales for the belting range of products.
This role is also focussed on representing the entire range of company products and services to our client base to maximise sales and the company’s gross profit. Key to your success will be the ability to develop new business.
Key responsibilities:
- Promotion of Fenner Conveyors Engineered Conveyor Solutions into the NSW’s mines, ports and related industries
- Establish a customer project pipeline for Engineered Conveyor Solutions (ECS) in NSWs
- Develop the sales and marketing plan that targets key customers for the supply of ECS
- Lead Engineered Conveyor Solution development efforts that best address customer needs
- Promote and market all Fenner Conveyors products and services
- Initiate and negotiate contracts with key clients to maximise Fenner Conveyors profits
- Identify key accounts by analysing current growth, strategic importance and future potential
- Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives for Fenner Dunlop belt, services and associated products for assigned accounts
- Complete weekly and monthly sales report as directed by the GM for Sales & Marketing
- Industry experience with bulk materials handling, particularly in belting / conveyors
- Advanced knowledge of Conveyor servicing, systems and component
- Competent knowledge of sales strategies and marketing
- Business development and account management experience
- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise work demands and meet deadlines, balancing strategic and more immediate requirements
- Mechanical engineering or similar qualifications desirable
- Strategic problem-solving skills - apply technical knowledge and experience
- Ability to influence and persuade to achieve favourable outcomes
