We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a knack for building and nurturing client relationships, and a strong understanding of the workwear industry.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for increasing sales revenue, developing strong customer relationships, and encouraging bulk orders from existing and potential customers, as well as facilitating customisations to meet their specific needs.
What you’ll do
- Identify and target potential clients within specific industries requiring workwear solutions
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service
- Actively prospect for new business opportunities
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements
- Encourage customers to place bulk orders by highlighting the benefits of discounted rates and customised options available
- Assist customers in selecting and customising uniforms, including incorporating logos, branding, and other personalised elements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in industry uniforms and related accessories to effectively advise customers
- Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities

What will make you successful
- Demonstrated experience in sales or Business Development, preferably within the workwear or apparel industry
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
