Business Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced administration professional with strong leadership skills and clear direction, to join us as our Business Office Manager and lead the team across all hospital administrative functions.
Managing a team of close to 40 staff, the Business Office Manager;
Oversees pre-admissions, procedural bookings, self-funded estimates, health fund checks and reception;
They collaborate closely with the Billings Team to ensure timely and accurate revenue billing, including on-site cash collections; and
Leads a diverse administrative team, managing workforce aspects such as rostering, workhour safety responsibilities and KPIs, and professional development of the team.
Report directly to the Director of Finance and Hospital Support Services, holding a key leadership position within the hospital.
About You
Extensive admin team management experience, preferably in the Health industry, strong time management skills and an ability to multi task in a busy hospital environment, managing patients, Doctors and other staffs expectations, will be key to your success in this role.
Additionally, beneficial qualifications include:
Health management or related degree
Familiarity with health fund contracting
Proficiency using Meditech or similar patient software
Experience using Workplan and MyTime
Strong skills in Excel and Outlook
Remuneration: On offer is base annual salary of upwards of $100k + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
