With a large, specialised fleet of vehicles, equipment and personnel, this position presents an exciting opportunity for a Dynamic and Vigorous professional to join an ASX-listed company as an Entertainment Logistics Operations Development Supervisor.
Position Overview
Initially based in Revesby NSW and reporting under a matrix structure to the Group General Manager and National Operations Manager, you will join a passionate team of entertainment industry and logistical specialists in a role where you must support, grow and understand the logistical needs of high-profile musical, television and movie personnel.
As the Entertainment Logistics Operations Development Manager, you will use your industry knowledge and commercial acumen to effectively meet the strict deadlines, aggressive schedules and impeccable standards expected from our established partners and members of the dynamic entertainment industry.
This is a pivotal role requiring a candidate with extensive senior management experience (10+ Years), vast knowledge of the Entertainment industry, and someone who is passionate about business and customer development.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Entertainment Logistics Operations Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our vast range of entertainment clientele.
- Developing and expanding our customer-business side of the company including overseeing and supporting our daily Operations and offering commercial, and informed support.
- Using your industry knowledge of entertainment, touring and logistics to understand and effectively ensure Entertainment Logistix deliver exceptional specialised services to our client’s.
- Enabling the logistical and operational success of our large fleet of vehicles, equipment, personnel and specialised services, is effectively delivered across the country.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS&E) Governance throughout the company, and at entertainment venues when required.
The Successful Candidate must be able to:
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience providing leadership and effective commercial and operational decision making within a complex and demanding supply chain environment.
- Maintain excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships across all levels and effectively implement and manage supply contracts.
- Confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop our diverse teams.
- Use strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure all employees and clients understand how logistics is handled in Australia within the entertainment sector.
- Understand and oversee financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting within the entertainment industry.
