Education and Training Office’s (ETO) improve the skills; knowledge of law; police duties and management of all police officers and staff members at District, Establishment and Regional level. Your role in the team will contribute to the coordination, facilitation and assessment duties associated with the delivery of quality training to police personnel. The training includes the facilitation of Domestic and Family Violence and Cultural Awareness Training to police personnel to equip police officers and staff members with a quality foundation to assist them in providing excellent service to the community.
The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Develop and facilitate the delivery of education and training to QPS personnel.
• Assist in planning, writing, and coordinating the development of course material. Curriculum and student assessment strategies within the area.
• Undertake assessment of program participants.
• Liaise with other training professionals in the development of strategies to identify and address the training needs of QPS personnel.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, coordination and review of training programs required by the Queensland Police Service to enhance the skills
and knowledge of QPS personnel.
• Conduct continuing research into and maintain an up to date knowledge of, subject matter and academic requirements relating to the area.
• Contribute to the planning, co-ordination, project work, curriculum development, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of training for QPS personnel.
• Proactive, positive interaction and communication with your team.

Qualification:
Possession of a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and/or qualifications deemed equivalent will be considered favourably.
