This is a unique opportunity for an outgoing and individual with administrative skills to kick-start their career in Media.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales with the planning and management of their duties as well as all administrative tasks, requiring a sound understanding of the organisations policies, procedures and structure.
This role works also to support the broader Brisbane sales office and will engage in key communication on a national level to assist where required.
Office Size Support for x 52 People across Metro. Regional, Digital, Publishing, Audio, Powered and commerce functions within the business.
Day to day you will:
Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Sales
Arrange and coordinate meetings and events
Oversee visitors to the office as the main point of contact
Monitor, respond to and distribute incoming communications
Manage extensive diary and travel management for the entire sales team
Co-ordinate, manage and book travel and preparation of itineraries as required; domestic and international
Help to prepare documents, presentations and draft responses
Data entry of advertising spots to sales and traffic system
General administrative tasks for Sales team
Qualifications
In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have:
Ideally 1 year + experience in supporting and interacting with senior executives
Advanced skills and knowledge of Google Suite of products and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced skills and knowledge in Google Calendar and Inbox management
Excellent demonstrated communication skills – both written and oral – in a clear and articulate manner
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships (via telephone) and relate to people at all levels of client/agency organisations.
The ability to solve problems and demonstrate initiative
Experience working in, and thriving in, a fast-paced environment and delivering under pressure
A dedicated and flexible attitude and a willingness to do a range of tasks outside of day-to- day role as required
