The area enjoys a reputation as one of Adelaide’s most desirable places to live, work, study and visit.An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the Council’s Infrastructure & Major Projects Department on a permanent full-time basis and contribute to the excellence in service delivery. The role will assist in project and administration functions within the Infrastructure & Major Projects Department including researching, preparing and coordinating projects and initiatives, as required. The RoleReporting to the General Manager, Infrastructure & Major Projects the Executive Assistant, Infrastructure & Major Projects is responsible and accountable for the provision of high-level administrative and project support to enable the General Manager, and the Infrastructure & Major Projects Department to operate efficiently and effectively. You will also be required to liaise with stakeholders providing high level support to all other business units across the Infrastructure & Major Projects Department as required. About YouTo be successful in this position you will be a positive, passionate and pro-active team player who values excellence in their work and possess the following skills and experience:A certificate-level qualification or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Customer Service or Governance. (desirable)A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a related role. (essential)High-level of flexibility to meet rapidly changing priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organisation time management.Experience with report writing, creating, drafting and editing correspondence, documents and presentations.
