ABOUT THE ROLE
The Student Experience includes a portfolio of Student Engagement & Success, Indigenous Student Engagement & Success, Chaplaincy and Libraries. The office is a key supporting function for the University of Notre Dame to functionally achieve its strategic priorities through providing best practice processes and support for students to attain a high level of satisfaction.
The Executive Assistant reports to the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Student Experience and provides support for several key deliverables across a range of strategic projects and day-to-day matters for the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high level of administrative support to the PVC- Student Experience including day-to-day diary and coordination of travel requirements.
- Assist with Project Management initiatives across the areas within the portfolio, developing and maintaining relationships and managing communications, building rapport and business relationships with all areas to keep currency with critical issues and priorities and support timely resolution and delivery.
- Manage all administrative function within the PVC-Student Experience Office including diary management, maintenance of registers, drafting responsibilities related to project milestones, deliverables, and project outcomes for a variety of audiences and for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and project support to other committees and working groups as required.
- Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
- Hold a relevant tertiary degree (or are progressing towards).
- Experienced supporting senior leaders in an Executive Administrator/ Officer capacity.
- Demonstrate experience in supporting projects with an understanding of the project life cycle.
- Proficient communication skills both verbal and written.
- Hold good organisational skills with a high accuracy and attention to detail with a proven ability to work to strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite primarily Project Online, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook email.
