The Role with Austco
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller (GFC), this role is 3 full days per week based in Port Melbourne. If you are a seasoned bookkeeper or a graduate with 2 years of post graduate experience, we'd love to hear from you.
About You
- At least 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience in AR collection and communicating with customers
- Proficient in Xero/Quickbooks/Reckon
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Attention to detail and adaptability
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile routine invoicing and payments (AR and AP)
- Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Minimal office administrative tasks such as ordering stationery
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as directed by the GFC.
