What you'll contribute to
The Fleet Dealership Manager will be responsible for developing a strong relationship with the Toyota Dealer network, growing our conquest volumes through networking and supporting specialised dealer programs.
This role is critical in developing and delivering a coordinated program that harnesses the combined strengths of the Dealer Network, TFA Fleet Sales Channel, and the strengths of One Toyota initiative.
Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term opportunity to cover a member of our team whilst on secondment.
How you'll make an impact
Manage Toyota Family Dealership Relationships
- Maintain productive relationships with Dealership Principals and all necessary dealership personnel
- Conduct regular dealership visitations and reviews within national standard.
- Identify negative trends in Dealer performance and implement corrective strategies.
- Effectively build relationships with the Dealer network to secure new business leads for Toyota Fleet Management (TFM)
- Support and assist Dealership Fleet personnel to prospect and pitch for conquest Fleet opportunities.
Achieve pre-determined budgets (with small business customers) for Net Amount Financed and # Units across our Managed and non-Managed products:
- Complete Lease
- Dealer Novated Lease
- Chattel Mortgage
- Promote Dealer Drive programs to increase dealership participation
- MyLease
Devote sufficient time to training and coaching dealership staff as per National guidelines to ensure:
- All dealership Business Managers can quote and sell our Fleet products confidently.
- All fleet sales staff are trained on: The Fleet PMA Program, the referral process, TFM products and services, Acquisitions Department process with respect to Delivery and documentation standards.
- Encourage dealership fleet staff to initiate positive relationships with TFM staff in the region, and Acquisitions Department in Head Office.
- Ensure New Car Sales Managers, General Managers and DP’s are aware of our products and services.
- SME Dealer enablement program to be coached and behaviours reinforced by FDM’s face to face in Dealerships, and virtually where required.
- Ensure that all commitments undertaken under the Dealer Engagement Program in relation to visitation frequency, format, & reporting are followed.
- Facilitate Dealer Engagement Training roll out to Fleet Specialist Dealers.
- Promote PMA principals (Acquisition/ Disposals) during Dealer Program Reviews
- Coach Dealership staff in TFM Delivery and Documentation standards
- Promote Big Toyota Auctions and other activities to maximise dealer participation in remarketing programs.
- Work in conjunction with TFA RF&I Regional personnel to compliment retail/ wholesale dealership programs.
- Build relationships with key TFA Dealer channel staff attending meetings as required to present new Fleet products and programs.
- Work in support of Dealer Training Manager's to ensure that there is a consistent message delivered on sales disciplines.
- Develop relationship with TMCA Regional teams to promote One Toyota approach.
- Knowledge of the Salary Packaging and Novated Leasing Industry
