This role is based in our Scoresby Office in Melbourne, which is a 24 min drive from Melbourne CBD
What you'll contribute to
This hands on operational role will contribute to the achievement of the HR strategy by providing second level advice, support and operational HR solutions. The role requires a high level of understanding of HR Processes and Procedures as well as ability to diagnose problems and execute on deliverables.
  
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is primarily responsible for supporting the business with human resources related services within their respective area of responsibility in order to ensure that the business is optimally supported in achieving its objectives through its people.

How you'll make an impact
  
 HR BP Activities

  • Implement agreed processes and procedures consistent with set policies in order to achieve engagement and enablement objectives at optimum cost. Ensure any changes to processes and procedures are accurately documented and communicated.
  • Support Senior HRBPs in identifying organisation design and talent needs in order to ensure that organisational development and workforce planning are optimised. Gathers, summarises and analyses information from the business, Prepares and distributes reports, information and presentations in order to inform sound decision making.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of processes and procedures in order to improve and optimise people engagement and enablement.
  • Provide specialist support for the assessment and selection of suppliers in order to secure delivery of services at expected quality and at optimal cost. Supports ongoing supplier management. (E.g. Benefits, Safety and Wellbeing)
 HR Operations
  • Undertake the delivery of local HR Operational activities ensuring consistent standards, timelines and budgetary obligations are met
  • Identify new opportunities to contribute within the business and suggest improvements to current practices and/or approaches, including the development of business cases for consideration
  • Responsible for the coordination and review cycle of all HR company policies, practices and procedures in relation to employees
  • Provide input into the development and enhancement of HR guidelines and internal procedures.
  • Provide second level HR advice for any issues escalated from the HR inbox
 Health & Wellbeing
  • Effectively manage wellbeing initiatives at TFA. Including coordinating TFA’s wellbeing program, ensuring the offerings are fit for purpose and consistent with best practice
  • Manage the safety of all employees through effective monitoring of WHS systems and compliance with WHS legislation – including coordination of training and ergonomic assessments
  • Manage and report all WHS related reporting metrics
  • Act as a HR representative in quarterly WHS meetings and provide feedback to HR Team, managing any HR WHSC actions including injury management, hazard identification and prevention strategies.

Your attributes
  • Prior experience in a HR position -  junior role, HR Advisor level
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR orBusiness
  • Relevant human resources experience
  • Analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen & continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively and apply problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to produce insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HR Processes and Procedures
